It was actually his silver screen second male lead role in Khuda Kay Liye, which helped Pakistan’s cinema industry to stand on its own.
Even though he showed his acting skills in Jutt and Bond, back in 2001, still Khuda Kay Liye made him conspicuous among the bunch of young lads eager to jump on Lollywood’s bandwagon. These dramas got popular even on both sides of the Wagah border, plus they raised few eyebrows as well, making Fawad Khan one of the most looked out for faces in both the countries.
The singer-cum-actor went on making his Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat’ alongside Sonam Kapoor and the rest is history. With even sticking to his terms and of course ‘No Kissing Policy’ Fawad Khan had various options from the cross border, and this time he nailed it with his performance in ‘Kapoor and Sons’.
