Everything you need to know about Shaan Shahid’s Waar 2

If one has to only pick two films that brought the Pakistani entertainment industry back on the track, undoubtedly one would be Waar, not sure about the other. The film just showed another level direction, which was never before talked or thought-about in Pakistani cinema. What worked as the cherry on top were super performances by the ensemble cast that included some big names of the industry, Shaan Shahid, Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Khan, and Ali Azmat. The commendable job as director was done by none other than Bilal Lashari, he’s the same, known for his upcoming flick ‘Maula Jatt 2’.

With even 6 calendars changed, Waar hasn’t got a competitor in its genre of action-thriller films. And the moviegoers all these years have been anxiously waiting for the sequel of this film. It will be pertinent to mention here that the similar year when this record-breaking film made it to the cinemas, ARY Films officially announced the making of the sequel. But over the years it has just got vanished into the thin air. Since then several times the speculations about Waar 2 getting a release made rounds, and that all just left the audience clueless.

Up to the latest, it seems like this time Waar 2 is all set to happen for real. We can’t have our words about that still as the lead star of the Waar has hinted about something bigger and better brewing. In a subtle Tweet that somehow seems to be a promotional activity or some kinda announcement, Shaan Shahid just left the movie-enthusiasts yearning for more.

Like every other moviegoer, one of them asked Waar lead actor on Twitter about the update on the film, and the response seemed to have the positive connotation attached to it.

The official words about the film aren’t out yet, so what we all can do is speculate from the Tweets shown above. It should be noted here that if the previous official response from ARY Films is to be taken true, Bilal Lashari isn’t going to don the hat as director for the sequel. And one can’t forget his brilliance in the direction department as this film truly redefined the direction department in the Pakistani film industry.
